Spring Beauty Recipes

 

Spring is NEW-BORN-SEASON!

Fresh greens like sprouts and young leaves raise their heads.

Some of them have unique smells and bitter tastes, which is because they are so small and weak  that they have to protect themselvesfrom enemies.

We can enjoy the beautiful colors and their characters, either!

 

Let's see some BEAUTY RECIPES in this beautiful season!!

Fava bean paste

 

7~8sticks of fava beans(80g net)
1/4 tea spoon of salt
1/2 table spoon of olive oil
50g of yogurt

 

Grill sticks of fava for 7~8min until their surface is cooked brown.

Take beans from sticks and peel thin skins,

(you have to have 80g at this moment) 

Mix with the other ingridients by the brender until smooth.

 

Have some with favorite baguette.

 

"Gateau"new potatoes"

 

《a 8inch tart plate》

5 new potatos

 3 of them to be softened by boiled or steamed.

1 new onion  sliced
1 table spoon of sweet vinegar

1/2 tea spoon of salt

2 table spoons of juice of canned mackerel
100g of meat of canned mackerel


Mix onion slice with sweet vinegar.

Mashed softened potatoes and add salt, juice and meat of mackerel, onions with vinegar, then put them into the plate.

 

Slice the rest of potatoes 2mm thin, and put them over the mixture beautifully like the picture.

 

Sprincle your favorite cheese and black pepper over the top.

 

Bake 15min-20min by 400F.



 

Tartine with boiled tiny fish and petit tomatoes

 

4 petit tomatoes  diveided into 8 each
Some broccoli super sprouts
20g of boiled tiny fish
1/2 table spoon of olive oil

1/4 tea spoon of salt

Mix all ingredients in a bowl and leave 5-10min in the refrigerator.(A)

 

1 garlic  cut into half


Smear a garlic to some sliced rye baguettes and topped with the tomato mixture(A) on each.

 

Bake them 4-5min by toaster without preheat.
