Winter Beauty Recipes
Winter is the season when its vegetables make you warm by natural laws.
The roots vegetables which hibernate under ground during cold winter give you natural sweetness if you cook stew, boil or stirfry them, which make both your body and heart hotter than ever, aren't they??
Let's have all essences of winter vegetables with soups and stews, or pot-au-feu!!



Raddish cake with hijiki(seaweeds)
300g raddish half grated, half cut into fine strips
100g rice flour
2 table spoons of potato starch
1/4 tea spoon of salt
5g dried hijiki soak in warm water for 5min
1 table spoon of coconut oil
Mix all ingredients in a bowl, scoup and make it round like baby's hand size.
Stirfry with coconut oil one by one for 3-5 min each side.
Serve them with sour soy sauce.
Brussels sprouts with olive oil
15 brussels sprouts
1 pack of musheooms
150ml water
1 tea spoon of consomme powder
1 garlic crashed
1 table spoon of olive oil
2 pinches of salt
Put oil and a garlic into the pan and over the low heat for 1min, add brussels sprouts and stirfry for 2min(keep stirring)
Add consomme and water over a higher heat, if boiling, put a lid and cook 5min over a low heat.
Add mushrooms and salt, put the lid again and cook 2min more.
Coconut milk soup with veg & cereals
1/2 onion sliced
1/2 carrot sliced
1/4 chinese cabbage finely chopped
1 celery thinly sliced
100g of several vegetables like mushrooms, broccoli and so on
80g mixed beans
1 table spoon of cereals
1/2 table spoon of coconut oil
1 cup of coconut milk
500ml water
1/2 tea spoon of salt
2 tea spoons of consomme powder
1 table spoon of white miso
Heat big and thick pan with oil, put onions and stir until softene
Add cereals and stir 1-2min, then put all vegetables in the pan, mix well.
Add water, consomme, coconut milk and salt, make it higher heat until boilng.
Out mixed beans and cook with a lid for 20min over a low heat.
Add miso and adjust the taste.
